Assalamu`alaikum!
I want to tell
you about my experience in Megantara. Megantara is a cultural festival which
was held on Bali Field, 10 September 2016, two days before Idul Adha. In this
event, I became a logistic committee. I was tasked to make this event running
smoothly. Without this division, this event will not success.
I
came to the Bali Field on 7 a.m. wearing pangsi, which is a typical traditional
clothes from Sundanese. I went to the ward to meet my chairman of the logistic
division, kang Fadil to get my committee shirt and committe card.
I
started to help my friends transport chair and table for the food fest. Using pickups
car, My friend and I took chair and table from the school to the Bali Field. It
was a pretty hard task, because the table which we took from the bazaar, or
canteen in SMAN 3 Bandung is huge.
After
I finished my job, I go to the Sulawesi stand and play a local game with my
friends, i forgot what its called, but is very fun. When the temperature so high,
we decided to finished the game.
Because
of tired, I went to the Java stand and buy Leker, it is a typical cuisine of
Java. It just like martabak, but has a smaller size than a martabak. It very
delicious. In this stand, I met with vice chairman of the logistic division. So
I got a job again. Me and him took a traditional musical instrument from the
ward to the center of the stand. After we put in there, my friend immediately
trying to play the instrument. I playing a gamelan and a gong while my friend
playing a kolintang. It was very fun.
In
the Papua stand, I decided to go to the Obake House, which is like a ghost
house. But there, I met with my friend from the logistic division, and got some
task. I must to find a cardboard for decoration of the Obake House. After
finished my task, I want to go in there, but I saw so many visitors queuing
there to buy a ticket. So I canceled to go to the Obake House and bought some
snacks from the foodtruck in the Papua stand.
In
the afternoon, I felt thirsty and hungry, so I bought a food from the
Kalimantan stand with my friends. After that, I taking a picture with my
friends on the photo booth. There`s a boat made from bamboo. After taking some
picture, I went to the field to see the performance of the participant of the
fashion show. The fashion show shows the traditional fashion of each provinces
in Indonesia.
I
standing int the field for hours and see many performances on the stage. There
is Giri Riharja, which is a Wayang performace. I laugh out loud seeing its
perormance, because is very fun. After that, I pray Maghrib and walking around
the Bali Field, waiting the performance of T`ST. After waiting for minutes, I
saw the performance of T`ST. It was a Kabaret with the title of the Kabaret is
Megantara. I thought is was fun. Then, I pray Isha with my friends, while in
the stage there are performances of ITB, but I not interested to see the
performance. So my friend and I decided to walking around to buy some foods. We
bought fried rice ont the Kalimatan Stand.
After
waiting for long, The Changcuters shows its performances. I was very exciting. Whole
of the visitors put their hands up and shake their hands together to the left
and right side. And the vocalist of The Changcuters was very funny too. After The
Changcuters performances, there`s RAN that closed the event with its song.
Finally,
after a day the event was closed. But before go to home, the committe must to
evaluate the proceedings of the event. Our division, overall doing a great job.
Although there is a tiny distruption, and out of the planned. This event,
Megantara was succeed. And I thought I will never forget my experience on The
Megantara.
